French Prosecutor: Ongoing Probes into State-Sponsored Terrorism Involve Algeria

France's National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor, Olivier Christen, stated that several investigations are ongoing regarding state-sponsored terrorism involving Algeria and Russia. Five of the eight cases are mainly related to these two countries, targeting opponents on French soil. He also mentioned Iran's alleged involvement in actions aimed at the Jewish community in France. Last July, the European Parliament validated Algeria's inclusion on the list of high-risk countries for terrorism financing.
