FIMEC: Karitia Coulibaly (Director General of AGEFOP) focuses on youth skills to meet employment challenges

The second edition of the International Forum of Trades and Skills (FIMEC) opened on July 15, 2026 in Abidjan. The Director General of AGEFOP, Karitia Coulibaly De Medeiros, emphasized the importance of training youth to meet the needs of companies, amid digital and economic transformations. She thanked President Alassane Ouattara, Vice-President Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé, and Minister Adama Kamara for their support. The event aims to bridge the gap between training supply and labor market demand.
