Bamanga Tukur to be buried in Adamawa Sunday

Elder statesman Bamanga Tukur, who died on Saturday in Abuja, will be buried in his home state of Adamawa on Sunday, September 13. According to a statement from Governor Ahmadu Fintiri's Chief Press Secretary, the body will be flown to Yola on Saturday evening and laid to rest after funeral prayers at the Lamido Adamawa's Palace at 10:00 am. Tukur, a former PDP national chairman, is survived by two wives and 18 children, including Awwal Tukur, the Secretary to the Adamawa State Government.
