Benue court begins process towards trial of Al-Jazirah correspondent

A Benue State High Court sitting in Makurdi has fixed October 22 for the pre-trial conference in the case of Al-Jazirah correspondent Henry Ibya. Justice Shishi adjourned the hearing as not all defense documents had been received. The case arose from a petition by Terna Abuul, Director of ICT at Moses Orshio Adasu University, over a publication. Ibya faces cyberstalking charges and other legal proceedings from the same petition.
