Armed bandits kill many, abduct others in Zamfara village

Many have been killed in Bunkasau village under Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The incident occurred on Friday night when armed bandits, numbering about 80 on motorcycles, stormed the village, sporadically shooting at residents and abducting several people, mostly women. Villagers are still searching for missing persons after the attack and are calling for intervention from the federal and Zamfara governments.
