CAF President Motsepe rejects Senegal’s corruption claim amid AFCON fallout

The president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, rejected corruption allegations from the Senegalese government following the controversial decision to strip Senegal of its AFCON title and award it to Morocco. Motsepe welcomed any legal action regarding these claims and stated that CAF would respect the decisions of the Court of Arbitration for Sport. This decision came after Senegalese players walked off the pitch during the final against Morocco, leading to a 3-0 victory for Morocco according to CAF regulations.
