Espérance Tunis: Youcef Belaïli's extension will be decided by CAS!

Youcef Belaïli has reached a preliminary agreement with Espérance Tunis to extend his contract for two years, until 2028. However, this extension will only take effect if the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) fully or partially lifts the FIFA sanction against the player in his dispute with AC Ajaccio, for which he received a one-year suspension. CAS is expected to rule by the end of August. Belaïli, recovering from knee surgery, maintains his innocence and claims he was betrayed by his former agent.
