New Government: What Will Change for Family Security Scholarships

The Prime Minister announced in the Council of Ministers changes to the National Program for Family Security Scholarships, including the digitization of payments by end of 2026 and the rapid settlement of new allocations with first-quarter arrears. The National Unique Register (RNU) now has 996,194 households, of which 57.6% are poor and 42.4% vulnerable. Two bills on social protection and women's economic empowerment will be submitted to Parliament in the second half of 2026. A meeting on social safety net governance is scheduled before end of June 2026.
