More than 3,400 people fleeing fighting in Yemen have landed along Djibouti's northern coast, according to Djiboutian authorities. This surge in arrivals was triggered by a Houthi offensive that seized the port of Mocha. Djibouti's already limited services are being strained by the influx of these refugees. Those arriving in Obock carry their belongings, while the journey has become increasingly difficult due to fuel shortages.
