Anger as Nigerian filling stations fail to reduce petrol price

Most Nigerian filling stations have not reduced petrol prices despite a drop in crude oil prices and Dangote Refinery's price cut. Prices remain between N1317 and N1336 per liter in Abuja. Dangote Refinery reduced its gantry price by N75 to N1175, but marketers have not passed on the reduction. IPMAN president said they are in a meeting, while an MRS manager promised a cut to N1242 soon.

The Commercial Court of Dakar has ordered Sonatel to pay 119.1 million CFA francs in interest to Magatte Sylla and his company Interface SAS in a patent infringement case. The 'Beinday' technological process was allegedly used without authorization in the 'My Business Wifi' offer. Ngong Road-Naivasha Road Flyover Completed Month Ahead of Talanta Stadium Completion

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo announced the completion of the 800-metre Ngong Road-Naivasha Road flyover, implemented by KURA. The project, funded by a Ksh3.58 billion loan from the Spanish FIEM fund, aims to ease congestion on the Ngong Road corridor and improve access to Talanta Stadium ahead of AFCON 2027. Construction began in September 2024, and the flyover will become operational in the coming weeks.
