OML 42: Nestoil invests $28m in rigs to boost production

Nestoil Group has invested about $28 million in two drilling rigs to enhance crude oil production in Nigeria. The group recently deployed the Pathfinder 500 rig to OML 42, where it completed workover operations without any Health, Safety and Environment incidents. Nestoil's chairman, Dr Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi, emphasized that this initiative aims to reduce dependence on hired drilling equipment, which has become costly and difficult to secure.
