Algeria U23: Kaïl Boudache's debut delayed

Kaïl Boudache, called up after his decisive performance for OGC Nice to secure Ligue 1 survival, will not make his Algeria U23 debut in June. Arriving injured with a pubalgia at the camp in Annaba, he missed the 2-0 win over Mauritania on June 5 and is ruled out for the return leg. The Algerian federation granted him permission to leave for treatment in France, where he is set to join Lyon. His first minutes for the Greens could come in September during CAN U23 qualifiers.
