Cité Fayçal: Surprising New Developments in the Murder of Wang Lun Guang

The investigation into the burglary and murder of Wang Lun Guang, which took place at Cité Fayçal on July 15, 2026, led police to the victim’s stolen phone, which was being used in Kounoune. Ibrahima Sène, a 47-year-old mason from Kounoune, allegedly bought the phone in Keur Massar for 120,000 CFA francs from 29-year-old Taly Guèye. Guèye said he had bought it for 100,000 CFA francs from 33-year-old Ablaye Diop, who was arrested in Colobane and named another alleged accomplice. The three men were taken into custody on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, handling stolen goods, and armed nighttime group theft involving violence and vehicles.
