Gradual Return of Populations to Mwenye After ADF Attacks

A gradual return of populations is being observed in the Mwenye group, Lubero territory, following ADF militia attacks in January. Many families are starting to return to their original localities, particularly from Butuhe and Butembo. Although life is slowly resuming with the reopening of shops and schools, fear remains among the population. Civil society is calling for strengthened security measures to stabilize the area.
