The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported that nearly 94,000 people have fled their homes in Yemen due to intensified fighting between Houthi rebels and government forces. The most affected areas are the governorates of Taiz and Lahj, with over 48,000 people displaced. More than 2,000 people have fled by sea to Djibouti, and the IOM has launched an emergency aid appeal to address the needs of displaced persons.
