South Africa: Government Hands Over Houses to KZN Flood Victims

The South African government, through Minister of Human Settlements Thembi Simelane, led a two-day program to hand over houses to families affected by the 2022 floods in KwaZulu-Natal, including site visits, title deeds, and permanent housing construction. The upgraded Coedmore bridge, costing 47 million rand, was also reopened to improve residents' mobility.
