Over 70 cases of acute diarrhea and 10 child deaths recorded in Lubutu, Maniema

Over 70 cases of acute diarrhea, including 10 child deaths, have been reported in twelve health areas of Lubutu, Maniema province. Children under five are particularly affected, and the disease has intensified since August. Health officials attribute this outbreak to the consumption of untreated water from rivers and natural springs, exposing over 2,280 households to waterborne diseases.
