Yemeni government launches air strikes on Houthi positions

Forces loyal to Yemen’s internationally recognized government conducted nine air strikes in Taiz governorate, targeting Houthi positions and military equipment in Dhubab and al-Masrakh districts. Fighting continues between government forces and Houthis in al-Shaqab south of Taiz. The Yemen Network for Rights and Freedom reported that Houthis killed at least five civilians, including a five-year-old girl, and injured 17 others, accusing the group of shelling residential areas and firing over 180 projectiles in 24 hours.
