Suspect linked to Monaco bomb attack on millionaire breaks silence to BBC

Vitalii Zhykovych, a former Ukrainian security officer, told the BBC from prison in Kyiv that he believed the Monaco bomb attack in June, targeting billionaire Vadym Yermolayev and his son, was ordered by senior officials of Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR). He claims the operation was authorized by his superiors and that Anastasia Berezovska, who planted the bomb, was his agent. Zhykovych denies sending her to kill or killing her himself, despite her body being found with gunshot wounds near Kyiv and Vladyslav Reut, an active-duty HUR officer, initially confessing but later recanting.
