Denounced by her husband, a teacher pleads guilty to relationship with a 16-year-old student

Mackenzie Naught, 25, a former elementary school teacher in St. John, Washington, pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual misconduct with a 16-year-old minor. She had sexual intercourse with the teenager after exchanging messages on Snapchat. Her husband, Garrett Naught, discovered the exchanges and alerted authorities. Her sentence, reduced to a maximum of one year in detention, will be determined on August 28.
