Super Falcons: Eguavoen takes charge as interim coach

Augustine Eguavoen, former head coach of the Super Eagles, will take charge of the Super Falcons on an interim basis for their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying fixtures against Comoros in October. He will be assisted by Christopher Danjuma, head coach of Nasarawa Amazons, and goalkeeper trainer Olatunji Baruwa. The Super Falcons will begin their qualifying campaign at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo on October 9 and 13, 2026.
