Kenya Power to tap extra 200MW in power deal with Ethiopia

Kenya Power will purchase an additional 200 MW of electricity from Ethiopia in December 2026 under an existing power purchase agreement, bringing the total to 400 MW. Ethiopia became Kenya's third-largest electricity source with a 9.88% share.
