Ebola: NCDC Tracks 53 Contacts and Orders Isolation of Suspected Cases

The NCDC has identified 53 contacts of Nigeria’s confirmed Bundibugyo virus Ebola patient in the Federal Capital Territory and will monitor them for 21 days after their last possible exposure. The 42-year-old woman, who returned from Uganda via Addis Ababa on October 3, is improving in isolation; her symptoms began on October 7 and testing confirmed Ebola on October 20.
