UK lists 4 countries with highest number of deportations in last 5 years

The UK recorded an increase in enforced returns, reaching 9,914 by December 2025, a 21% rise from the previous year. Albanian nationals were the most common nationality for returns, with 2,440 deportations, accounting for 25% of the total. Romanians followed with 1,818 returns, marking a 20% increase from the previous year. Foreign national offenders accounted for more than half of the enforced returns for both nationalities.
