U17 World Cup: Cameroon humiliates Algeria

The U17 Indomitable Lionesses crushed the Fennecs 5-1 in the first leg of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida. After an early goal from the Algerians in the 11th minute, Cameroon equalized in the 33rd minute. Nkenhoung Reine scored two goals in the 49th and 61st minutes, followed by a goal from Merveille Bikié and a brace from Mimbama in the 80th minute.
