IMF Programs: Côte d'Ivoire Successfully Completes Latest Evaluations

A team from the IMF, led by Geneviève Verdier, assessed the programs supported by the MEDC, FEC, and FRD in Côte d'Ivoire from April 22 to 30, 2026. The discussions resulted in an agreement on the sixth review of the programs, with performances deemed remarkable in terms of macroeconomic stability. Subject to the completion of reviews by the IMF Board, two disbursements totaling approximately $843.9 million are expected. The mission also involved discussions with high-level Ivorian officials, including Vice President Tiémoko Meyliet Koné and Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.
