Guéréo: A father caught cutting cables at the Les Manguiers hotel

On April 24, M.L. Diop, a 49-year-old man, was caught cutting electrical cables at the Les Manguiers hotel in Guéréo. He admitted to the charges in front of the Mbour Court, explaining that he acted to sell the copper to support his family. The civil party requested two million CFA francs in damages, while the prosecutor sought a six-month prison sentence. The verdict is expected on May 21.
