June 12: Nigeria must not waste sacrifices of MKO Abiola - SDP presidential candidate Adebayo

SDP presidential candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo said Nigeria must not waste the sacrifices of MKO Abiola, winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election. In his Democracy Day speech, he called the annulment of the election by the military government a betrayal of the Constitution and the sovereignty of Nigerians. He urged every Nigerian to play a role in enthroning true democracy in the upcoming general election.
