With the support of the AfDB, Benin initiates the doubling project of the Ouidah-Hillacondji road

The Beninese government has initiated a project to double 58.5 kilometers of road between Ouidah and Hillacondji, supported by the African Development Bank. This project includes service roads, access routes to tourist sites, a truck parking area, and border infrastructure. It is part of phase 2 of the Lomé-Cotonou road rehabilitation project, aimed at improving the Abidjan-Lagos corridor, a crucial route for trade in West Africa.
