Iraola jets in to Liverpool to finalise Anfield deal

Andoni Iraola, 43, arrived in Liverpool on Thursday to finalize his appointment as the club's new head coach following the dismissal of Arne Slot. He flew into John Lennon Airport on a private jet from San Sebastian and was driven away. Iraola has agreed a two-year deal to succeed Slot, who was sacked after a poor Premier League title defense. Iraola had already agreed to leave Bournemouth at the end of the season after leading them to a historic sixth-place finish and European qualification.
