No students killed at Osun convention - NANS

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) stated that reports of a former Osun State Polytechnic student being killed at its recent convention are false. According to Zone D NANS Coordinator, Comrade Adeyemo Josiah, the death of Ademiju Ayeni, known as 'Jago', occurred hours after the meeting concluded. He emphasized that no violent incidents took place during the convention, which was monitored by security forces.
