The Nigeria Customs Service has ramped up efforts to enhance excise compliance to achieve a revenue target of N400 billion for 2026. During an engagement in Owerri, Joy Edelduok, the Assistant Comptroller-General for Excise, expressed confidence in the service's ability to meet this target. Nine excise factories under the command are currently non-operational due to economic challenges, but companies like the Nigerian Bottling Company continue to comply with regulations.
