Matam: A police officer seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle-taxi

A police officer from the central police station in Matam, K. Ba, was seriously injured during a routine traffic check by a motorcycle-taxi driver, D. Guèye, on Saturday night. The accident occurred around 11:30 PM, resulting in an open fracture of Ba's tibia and a fracture in his arm. He was urgently transported to the hospital in Ourossogui, where he is under medical supervision, while Guèye was arrested and placed in custody for investigation.
