Breaking: Aboard a private jet, Macky Sall lands and sets foot on Senegalese soil

Macky Sall arrived this afternoon in Dakar aboard a blue private jet, marking his first return to Senegal since leaving power in April 2024. He is scheduled to meet President Bassirou Diomaye Faye at the Presidential Palace. This visit is part of his diplomatic campaign for the UN Secretary-General position. After Dakar, he will travel to Gambia to meet President Adama Barrow, then to Morocco.
