Super Falcons retain 36th position in latest FIFA women's world rankings

The Super Falcons of Nigeria retained the 36th position in the latest FIFA women's world rankings, maintaining their status as the highest-ranked team in Africa. Justine Madugu's side played two international friendlies against Senegal this month, winning the first 2-1 with goals from Asisat Oshoala and Toni Payne, and the second 3-0 with a brace from Joy Omewa and a goal from Oshoala. The next FIFA women's world rankings will be released on 20 October 2026.
