North Korea dismisses UN nuclear watchdog resolution

The North Korean Foreign Ministry dismissed a resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) criticizing its nuclear weapons program, stating that its status as a nuclear power is irreversible. Kim Yo Jong, sister of Kim Jong Un, accused the IAEA of double standards, pointing out that the agency overlooks the nuclear activities of the United States and South Korea. The ministry also stated that the resolution concocted by the US and the West has no effect on North Korea's position as a nuclear weapons state.
