Independence Day: Shun broad generalisation, assess Tinubu’s economic policies factually — Analyst to Nigerians

A public affairs analyst and APC member, Ibrahim Uba, urged Nigerians to avoid broad generalizations and assess President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies based on factual evidence. He pointed out that Nigeria’s economic indicators, including a 4.43% real GDP growth, a decline in inflation to 15.39% in August, and improved access to credit, indicate that Tinubu’s policies are reshaping the country. Uba emphasized that since Tinubu took office in 2023, positive changes such as economic growth in the second quarter of 2026 compared to 2025 have been observed.
