A European Alliance Against Elon Musk's Starlink for Satellite Spectrum

Orange, Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, and Telefónica are considering forming a consortium to apply for European satellite spectrum to compete with SpaceX's Starlink Mobile service. Starlink, which has 12 million subscribers in over 160 countries, aims to reach 25 million users by the end of the year. The European Commission has proposed reserving one-third of the spectrum for a European-controlled entity, which could limit SpaceX's ambitions.
