Timmy the humpback whale escapes to the North Sea

A humpback whale calf nicknamed Timmy, which garnered media attention after being repeatedly stranded near Germany, has been released into the North Sea by a rescue team. Transported in a water-filled barge, he was released off Denmark. Timmy, who developed health issues due to the low salt content of the Baltic Sea, appears to be swimming freely towards the Norwegian coast after his release.
