DRC: Congolese Cyclist Miguel Masaïsaï's Body Repatriated to Kinshasa

The body of Congolese cyclist Miguel Masaïsaï, who died in a traffic accident in Ouesso on September 18, was repatriated to Kinshasa on September 25. His body was laid in state at Beach Ngobila and then transferred to the morgue at Cinquantenaire Hospital, accompanied by a cyclists' procession. Miguel Masaïsaï, who launched the 'Pedals for Peace' project to promote peace in DRC, had undertaken a bicycle crossing of Africa from Goma to Rabat, covering over 6,500 km in 67 days.
