Orashi State will foster development, togetherness within Southeast, Southsouth regions - Group

The Orashi People Sustainable Progress Forum (OPSPF) has called for the creation of Orashi State, stating it will attract even development and foster unity among communities from the Southeast and Southsouth regions. The forum's chairman, Comrade Nwodu, emphasized that the Orashi region, comprising people from Bayelsa, Rivers, Imo, and Anambra, has significantly contributed to the nation's economic growth through its natural resources. Despite these contributions, the region is often overlooked in discussions about state creation at the national level.
