Notorious terrorist commander killed as troops intensify offensive in Katsina, Zamfara

Troops of the Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, neutralized notorious terrorist commander Alhaji Tukur, brother of kingpin Alhaji Shehu Bagiwaye, in operations in Katsina and Zamfara states. The operation also recovered weapons and foiled coordinated attacks. The air component intercepted about 300 terrorists in Gummi, targeting them with precision airstrikes. The military reaffirms its commitment to restoring peace in the North West.
