May Day 2026: Intensify efforts toward improving welfare of workers - LP to Nigerian govt

On the occasion of May Day 2026, the Labour Party urged authorities to intensify efforts to improve the welfare of Nigerian workers. While acknowledging the current administration's measures, including the recent minimum wage increase, the party emphasized that much more needs to be done in light of inflation. The Labour Party also commended the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress for their commitment to workers' rights.
