Kenya's Ministry of Health has confirmed a second case of Ebola Bundibugyo Virus Disease in the country. The patient is a 39-year-old man, a close family member of the first imported case who died last week, and he was placed in quarantine after developing fever, fatigue, and joint pains. He tested positive at both the National Virology Reference Laboratory and the KEMRI-CDC laboratory and is now hospitalized in a designated treatment center. The health authorities have traced 113 contacts, quarantined 108, and emphasize that the disease has not spread to the wider community.
