Panzi Foundation provides humanitarian aid to more than 110 families affected by fires in Bukavu

The Panzi Foundation, led by 2018 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Denis Mukwege, assisted more than 110 families affected by the September 10 fire in Bukavu’s Cimpunda neighborhood. Distributed on Wednesday, the aid included food such as beans, oil and salt, as well as dignity kits. The fire that struck Furaha and Ujamaa schools claimed the lives of 27 students. The foundation also provided support to Berna Polyclinic, which had treated injured students.
