Tinubu orders quarterly government-CSO policy dialogue - Daily Post Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the establishment of a quarterly government-civil society policy dialogue forum to institutionalize citizens’ participation in policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. Represented by the SGF George Akume, he stated that the forum would provide a structured platform for evidence-based advocacy and ensure community concerns are reflected in government decisions. Tinubu also pledged to expand Nigeria’s civic space to enhance social accountability and foster greater collaboration with civil society organizations on transparency, budget tracking, and grassroots interventions.
