True Muslims should be agents of peace, reconciliation - Sultan

The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, stated that true Muslims should be peace builders in line with Islamic teachings. During the inauguration of a modern mosque in Osogbo to celebrate Asiwaju Khamis Badmus's 80th birthday, he emphasized the importance of proper religious understanding to transform intolerance into friendship. He also noted that the mosque should serve as a symbol of social and economic development within the Muslim community.
