Gov Namadi sends ₦46.3bn supplementary budget to Jigawa Assembly

The Jigawa State House of Assembly approved the first reading of the 2026 Budget Review and a supplementary appropriation bill of ₦46.3 billion following a request from Governor Umar Namadi. House Speaker Rt. Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin stated that the supplementary budget aims to promote prudence, accountability, and transparency in managing the state's finances. The review is intended to direct resources toward programs and projects that significantly contribute to Jigawa's socio-economic development and the well-being of its people.
