Nigeria: APC President in Dekina Killed by Armed Men

Ishaq Yunusa, the APC president in Dekina, was killed on August 27, 2026, during an armed attack on the Itobe–Ochadamu road in Kogi State. The attackers also abducted another person who was in his vehicle, a blue Toyota Corolla. The police have initiated search operations to locate the abducted individual and identify the attackers. This incident follows a previous attack where 11 people were abducted in the same area.
