Cancer researchers present advances and emerging treatments

The US startup Revolution Medicines unveiled daraxonrasib, a molecule that doubled survival time for patients with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer compared to chemotherapy. Additionally, preliminary data suggest that weight-loss drugs like Ozempic could reduce the risk of cancer progression to metastatic stage by 38 to 50 percent.
